Enjoy a workshop with Shannon as she guides the young artists through  creating a piece of artwork with paper and scissors.   Children will learn a little bit about Henri Matisse and create their own interpretation of his work titled ‘Beasts of the Sea’.

Please note scissors are used for this art activity and an assortment will be provided.  Your child is encouraged to bring their own scissors if they have a pair that they use comfortably at home.

Join us at the Collingwood library in the Free Schools room on the main floor.

Note - Magic strives to make our classes available to all.  To this end, we have adapted a 'pay as you can' policy.  You must checkout for the desired class to reserve tickets. Class tickets are no cost. There is the option below to add on payment to cover workshop fees as well as the ability to "pay-it-forward" to help support the program for others.

Magic Saturday Workshops will be run with a pay-what-you-can approach this fall. Our goal is to create accessible access for ALL kids and families to experience high quality arts experiences. The workshop will be a $0 charge for all.

If you are able to contribute the fees for the workshops please e-transfer the workshop fees of $15 to magicofchildren@gmail.com. The fee helps to cover the cost of the artist, supplies, and the space. We know that some community members like to pay it forward as well. We welcome any and all contributions to help support our ability to offer Magic to the community.

Thank you! We cant wait to make art with you.
